The dreaded ABS/EVO .... rear brake

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a problem where on ignition on, the servo performs its checks and the pump works Ok for the front brake, but 'no whirring' for the rear brake? I can hear the microswitch click, but that's it.

It seems weird that it performs its checks Ok - are there any fault codes that need clearing? Bike is a 2005 1100 S with 33K Km on the clock.

Bike's been laid up for a little while in my garage and needed a new battery etc ... I don't want to go into a full servo-ectomy if it's something as straightforward as a fuse.

Thanks for your time.

David.

Just because the switch clicks don't mean is actually working - No Pump noise from the rear brake - so I'd say I'd say switch is the culprit - I'd check that the switch was actually getting power to and from it first before worrying about fault codes etc.

Thanks - will check it out - the wires are so flimsy compared to my airhead!
Thanks.
