Too quiet!

Having recently taken ownership of a low mileage 2001 r1100s and driven a couple of hundred miles, I have to say am so far over the moon.
However one annoying thing is the almost sewing machine quietness from the twin pipes. I thought remus did a system for this bike but can find nothing online (presumably discontinued). I have heard the Danmoto y piece isn't of great quality.
Is it just a case of keeping an eye on eBay and hoping something comes up?
On a technical note, on an aftermarket cat eliminate, where does the o2 sensor go?

I think Remus stopped making the 1100S many years ago unfortunately. eBay and patience is the answer. Just keep an eye out as there are many different exhaust systems available second hand.
A replacement Y pipe will have the fitting for the O2 sensor. I’ve never heard of one that doesn’t, but I know nothing .... Barcelona etc.

my BoxerCup has a full remus system, it's um a tad "fruity" ….. there's an O2 sensor installed but ever since I've had it it's been disconnected, general opinion when I asked was that if it was running OK not to bother refitting it. It goes well so I've never bothered.

Love my Staintune system on my 2001. Keep your eye out for a set on ebay. Good luck.
