Tyre Profile

Postby Skint » Thu Aug 05, 2004 8:11 am

I am getting an odd tyre profile on my front tyre, its a mac90. The most wear is experienced on the nearside, where the wear is to about 2 mm, however the offside wear is over 4 mm. What do you think is causing this. If it were the camber of the road i would expect the offside to wear faster. This wear rate is not experienced on the rear.
When can the Highway agency lay softer road coverings??

mmmmm very odd? Just replace my front Pilot Sport (with another) it had more wear on the offside, which was due to road camber as you say. Wear on the nearside, never seen that one?

Does your bit of the M1 slope to the centre for a large part of your commute (north and south) :?:
Apologies for the earlier post
