Patiently waiting to fill up 2 bikes, as Steve (Boxered) pulls away from the pumps is all part of the fun, it means the the throttle will have to be twisted just a bit more to catch up

Has a route for a ride-out been posted yet?

Not going to post up a route this year, as this is NOT an organised ride out , suffice to say that I will be leaving the WP car park with a few mates at 10 am sharp, if any of you wish to follow us that's fine rest assured it will be interesting if not unfamiliar to our regulars, ( there are only so many roads) suffice to say it will include a variety of every type of road, from tight and twisty to nadgery little back roads to fast sweepers, all welsh life is here I intend to stop for a brew after an hour or so, and then for lunch around an hour later, followed by a fuel stop (125miles)
I expect to be out all day, and probably return for tea early evening.

Make sure you bring your cameras as we're going to see the sights ..... oh and one of our stops involves a 50p parking fee so keep 50p in your pockets

Now I appreciate this may be difficult for the Yorkshire and Scots contingents to part with but it's Wales we need the funds guys

BoxerEd and myself have just been out checking how things are out in north Wales at the mo.

Last night there was a mega storm, the tail of which meant it was still lashing down when we set off this AM, I went on my K12GT (which has pissed me off because the ABS electrohydraulic motor has failed... so I get a nice big "Brake Failure" light on the dash) .... it's a common issue so they can give me a new one under the extended warranty ....

Anyway the roads were extremely challenging, felt like I'd need water wings the amount of flooding that's in evidence. Of course the fantastic thing about this is that all the rain and flood water has washed away the salt put down during the recent snow falls. Woooo hooo

Oh aye, a good days riding in the end, this morning was shockingly bad, blowing a gale, pissing down, roads covered in all sorts of detritus from fallen branches, blown over wheelie bins and their contents to pot plants rolling across your path, a great way to enjoy my first days riding for nearly a year ( ok, 11 months) but by lunchtime everything calmed down enough for us to start to enjoy the ride a little more, I'm still rusty as hell though, but it all started to come back to me by the end of the day so hopefully no more thrippenny bit ing the bends next weekend

Happy with route now we have covered it from top to toe, and looking forward to meeting up with everyone next weekend
