Meet Up

Postby Nookiebear » Tue Mar 19, 2013 10:58 am

When are some of you guys going to arrange a meet so that I may come along and have a natter with you.
I ask as this is my first BMW (and loving it) but I really don't know enough about my bike and I am reading up on the model. But I am interested to get people's thoughts on what can be done to improve mine and are certain noises standard etc.
It's like my bike has self canceling indicators, was this a standard fit for 2001 model or is it aftermarket. I already mentioned my bike has the yellow coloured spring on the rear shock and now found out this could be the upgraded sports suspension.
So when it starts to get a bit sunnier can we meet up for a chat, I don't fancy driving to Scotland from Milton Keynes for just a Saturday afternoon ride out though lol.

Although based on last years turnout I wouldn't expect there to be many R11S' there though

Probably gonna pop up for the day with The Hinkley Man.

don't forget ...... when we're on the ride out ... we don't know one another .... wouldn't want to upset NW plod as I understand it's an offence for more than 10 vehicles to be in "convoy" without special permission :)

Come along to Wales and collect them, Meet plenty of like minded folk at the same time.

As your "yorkish" may see you at Squires, Seaways/Fimber or Helmsley sometime--I've already got the "factory stickers" so come and introduce yourself.

Peter.

Not sure, Weather isn't looking good this weekend (and i've a pair of tyres to fit) Next weekend (easter) i'm up in the Dales and then it'll be Wales so that takes us to the end of April beginning of May.
