Squires this sunday - 12/5

Postby Gromit » Fri May 10, 2013 10:13 am

Going to head up to Squires for a brew'n'buttie on sunday if anyone fancies meeting up for a chinwag.

10.30-11ish.

If no interest will head to Willingham Woods at similar time.

If only I was slightly less than a 400 mile round trip of a motorway slog I would be there.

Don't blame you Steve - even if I had an RT I'd still baulk at it. :)

I need to think of a mutually distance-friendly venue for the North & South possies to meet up for sunday brekkie & banter.

Hi Richard,
Will know better tomorrow but should be OK. Either Squires or Willingham Woods is fine by me.

Peter.

Great stuff Peter - if there's no interest for Squires from anyone else (ie no one posts up on the thread) I'll 99% likely go for WW as it's a much nicer ride up there. :)

Squires was because it's ages since I've last been. :)

Could (if you have the time) come over this side of the water and have a bimble around the Wolds Tea & Butties here

That looks promising - not a bad ride up, certainly compared to blatting up the A1 to Squires, about 85 miles or so. I need to get home around 2.30-3 so this could be do-able.

I'm easy Peter - either Squires or Willingham Woods. It's a nicer ride to WW but in Squires we can sit inside if it starts raining, and the food's a hell of a lot better.

Up to you. :)

I'll save the Fridaythorpe venue for when I don't have to be back home so early (could make it as part of a full day ride-out).
