Sunday March 30 Breakfast run to Jack's at Towcester?

Postby Paul » Mon Mar 24, 2014 3:19 pm

Since I have a day pass on Sunday, I'll be out playing on my bike. Anyone fancy meeting up at Jacks Hill cafe in Towcester for a late breakfast or early lunch? [smilie=eat.gif] I'll aim to be there for about 11:00am, coming up from the south, probably leaving Henley-on-Thames at around 9:00am-ish?

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

I could be up for that. I'll be leaving from Beaconsfield. Which way are you going? I usually go up to Amersham on the A355, jump on the A413 (Lovely) through Buckingham, then continue on the 413 to the A5 for the last couple of miles to Jacks. It'll be the noisy Harley mind but don't worry, it's not a slow chopper.

Well done that man. I was going to pick a cross country route so beaconsfield, Amersham, Aylesbury etc. sounds like a plan. Pick a reference point for me to aim for in or her beaconsfield and I'll see you there

Cheers,

Paul

I'll be up for that, see you in Beaconsfield on Sunday, or in Henley if you're passing through.

Let me know when and where.

Mother's Day so I won't be joining you unfortunately. I am expected to do my duty with the kids pampering the wife!

Would love to pop down and see you chaps but with Mrs Gromit away (until June) it's a tad tricky getting the kids looked-after at weekends.

Hope the weather's good for you. :)

Need more northerly runs

Reckon I could join you, but think I'd need to leave about 3am and I'd be about 460 miles before breakfast in Towcester

So, I suggest a southern kick off at 09:00 at the riverside at Henley on Thames, head up to Beaconsfield to a location of F90x's suggestion for around 9:30 and bimble up to Towcester for about 11:00-ish.

Any other takers?

Cheers,

Paul

Sounds good. How about the new Beaconsfield services on the M40/A40 junction. I'll be out front and probably have a mate with me so look out for two orange bikes.
