Hi Geoff,

I've emailed them to ask if they're taking deposits. My guess is yes as we'll be taking over the place for a weekend :D

If I don't get a reply I'll give them a bell

Thanks for the info Steve

I'm not sure whether Keith will be up for it now having spoken to him last night, as I found out he'd crashed not once but TWICE at a Donington Park track day some 6 weeks ago and bust himself up quite badly with rib and hand injuries. Says he can't even squeeze toothpaste from the tube with his damaged hand

His Triumph 675 SE is also written off as well, so he's not a happy man at the moment

Not good, as he's self employed as well and has been off work since the crashes and definitely won't be ready for the Hawes weekend :(

Damn .... sounds nasty. Of course if it helps we have a really nice BMW C650GT scooter for sale in my place, no nasty horrible clutch :D .... an I promise no one will laugh if he turns up to the WW17 on it ;) ..... well not too many :twisted:

That's Me and Karen booked in, looking forward to some nice warm sunny roads :wink:

We have another couple booked in for the weekend Nigel & Suzanne, they are Boxertrix virgins so be gentle, currently riding a K1600 but that could well have changed by tomorrow let alone next April :lol:

looks likely to be a good sized South West presence for 2017, hope theres plenty of straw and cider Steve :oops:

Hotel has confirmed they require 20% or so deposit

Shxt, that is not good to hear. I am pleased he perseveres to clean his teeth cos oral hygiene is very important and it proves that all bikers are not animals :wink: Give Kieth my best regards and I hope it does not hurt to much when he laughs. He's getting better but still not sure about Hawes, he's lost his mojo a bit to be honest!

He fell off the first time at Redgate (65mph ish) and then again at Goddard's (40 MPH ish) -----if your gonna do it then do it in style :shock:

Hope he bounces back when he comes to terms with things!

BTW I saw a good ad in last months Peoples Friend for an automatic toothpaste dispenser :wink:

Hi Chris

I'm glad to see that you still subscribe to Peoples Friend, it was my Mother's favourite magazine until she passed away 4 years ago at the grand old age of 97

Great that the interest in the publication hasn't waned :D
