Managed to get out and do a reccy of the route yesterday, Mrs P met in Lynmouth for lunch and we rode the second half together from there, i've made a few modification's to my original plan but nothing too major, found some good places to stop for refreshment, so that and some lovely roads all we need and a bit of nice weather.

Shall post up the confirmed route when we get a chance to ride it in the very near future but should look something like this,

Room for one more Popsky?
I’m booked in and looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying the ride out.
I expect to arrive mid afternoon on the Friday and will hit the beach for an ice cream prior to beer o’clock.

Me and Karen have now ridden the route and its rather nice [imho] 195 miles ish with a strange anomaly in Bampton waymark 6 which I cant rectify no matter what I do or which map I play with so it will have to stay, there will be markers on the relevant junctions so should be all ok.

Click the link, you should then be able to upload to your satnav, if you haven't already made an account you should be able to from the link, its free and very good. one thing I have noticed if your using Garmin check that your uploading the right GPX file, there's 2 to choose from either 1.0 old or 1.1, my 395lm uses the old 1.0 but if your using the latest nav then you will probably need 1.1, you can check this by opening the route on your nav and if the map has little flags waving and the option to choose which way point to take then that's the right file for your device.

Not far John, are you going to call into Weston for a ice cream, Riders of Bridgwater is worth a look, nice cafe but you’ll have to walk past the Hardley a Davidson’s  to view the Ducrappies lmao
Looking forward to seeing you both Friday evening :D
