Jap and German again

Postby tripe » Sat Nov 04, 2006 5:56 pm

collected the bike from them yesterday after its 30k service. Having had it serviced by BMW Battersea for the last 15k miles i thought that they had given me someone elses bike!
Markedly smoother, acceleration seems swifter. Its amazing what a bit of care and attention can do. It makes me wonder exactly what was done on previous services?
oh, cheaper too!

Henry

I just picked mine up after a 30K with the same results...except from BMW Battersea!

Putting some air in the tyres and some oil may have helped

On that note, they used Catrol GPS semi-synthetic (which is a first).

As I had a throttle cable snap on the M4 Thursday Morning (in the snow  ), I ended up at Jap & German...

My thanks to Steve for sorting it in time for me to go to the Nurburgring for the weekend...though I didn't go in the end (snow didn't melt quickly enough  ).

And...I must concur with Henry...this is the sweetest the bike has been. Ever. As tested all over Sussex very early yesterday.

As I have a service coming up shortly, it will go to J&G...and be fully primed and ready for Chateau Flash 8)

A happy bunny!

Primed, and (bar one piece of a Goodrich hose "kit", and some new Michelin boots) ready for Flash...

Another happy Jap and German customer, usually use SLM, but felt the cost was beginning to outweigh the quality of work. Put it in 4 weeks ago for 42K service, excellent blokes, called me before they did anything to ok the costs (something SLM have never done in 5 years), did a fantastic job and also offered a ton of free advice.

Got into a chat about touring europe, and told me if I had any problems to call them first before calling road side assistance to see if they could talk me through any problems, f.o.c.!

waited 4 weeks to make sure it continued to run as well as it felt after I wheeled it out of the arches at J&G, it does.

Excellent service, good lads, highly recommended.

Brett

John
I find yellow really shows the accumulated London street grime to its best
Hoping to pick mine up tomorrow afternoon.

Henry
