Can anyone recommend a summer glove offering some protection and where's the best place to get them. Cheers

There's another 27 but they get lower than 12/20 then (took out colour-fastness as is that really an issue in "hot" summer????), if you want a contact number shout which one and I'll post it

Yes the colour fastness is an issue, if the dye is not colour fast it WILL bleed when it is damp, ie hands sweat, so you will get blue/redc or green hands.. So DO get colourfast leathers even in the summer.
When can the Highway agency lay softer road coverings??

Now rides a mangled wreck... Ho Hum back to the K100

I use these,

http://www.mcas.com.au/product.php?sect ... rodid=2109

and I like them. You can feel the breeze through them (providing it's not too hot!! ).
Last real test was in 40C+ temps back in Oz and I didn't have any problems with colour bleed. Mind, there's not too much leather to give grief. ;)
About £23 at current exchange rates plus postage. Biggest problem would be sizing - I reckon they're Asian (as in SE Asian) sizing being Chinese made - probably need to go up one size

Pev I bought a pair of Hein Gericke Pro Sports (Pittards Leather) a few weeks ago for our Europe trip. Gotta say they're superb. Light and cool but you feel that they'll protect your hands in spill.....Erm - In fact they did!! I got them soaked in a downpour, the rain went straight through but no dye on my hands. I think they were about £40ish bloody bargain mate!
