I recommend Castrol Chain Wax

It's crap for lubing chains but great for spraying onto alloy and keeping salt off.

Works great on chain-drive garage door openers and on all them damn little rollers on the door. Nice and quiet now. Only bad part was overspray onto the car windshield which the wife found as she drove into the rain :oops:
