Warning

Postby meistershite » Wed Jan 24, 2007 11:25 am

I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had
a near miss the other day.

I walked into B&Q at lunchtime and some old guy, dressed in orange,
asked me if I wanted decking.

Fortunately, I got the first punch in and that was the end of that.

Those less suspecting might not be so lucky !. . . . . . . .
Going round the clock for the 2nd time!!! And still going strong!

My neighbours, Mr & Mrs Hall, have a similar problem with carol-singers.

Apparently there's a bird in there dressed in orange that'll give you a screw for only 20p but I couldn't find her.

Actually that's not quite true...

She'll give you six for £1, wrapped in plastic that you can't get off.
