Wanted: R1200 LCD display

Postby victorlaszlo » Wed Feb 13, 2019 3:21 pm

My dad is having some issues with the LCD display (no light, some functions not visible) so we were thinking swapping it with a display from a decommissioned instrument cluster perhaps would solve the problems. Anyone got an instrument cluster lying around which was decommissioned due to other faults (speedo/rev meter etc) that could part with the LCD?

That's good to know! Might reach out to them everything else failing. But the display is super easy to swap as it's just mounted with a flat cable so if I could find him a display only then that would surely be cheaper and quicker. The rest of the instrument cluster has no problem, just the lcd failing...

I’d phone them............
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

Hi the one I used supplied all parts for the ducati display backlight ribbon and circuit board, they are not the only ones around a number of rebuilders out there.
