Baskerville Hall 28-30th August

Postby LozBoxa » Mon Aug 03, 2020 3:06 pm

Greetings friends of the church of the horizontally opposed!

Having enjoyed a BOXSTER trip in and around This region of Wales with John a couple of years back, I’m proposing to return on two wheels for two nights and two days of riding around and having fun on bikes.

Having met some of you on the Grampian run I am happy to say I am still gluten for more punishment and so wish to extend an invite if you’d like to play.

The following is the response to my inquiry to give you an idea of accommodation options.

We do have camping available for the nights Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August. Rooms are also available, although under the present restrictions we cannot offer shared accommodation unless folk are from the same household.
Camping is £8 per person per night and I have listed below the room tariff.
If we can help with your plans Adrian please email and I will do all I can to help

Kind regards
Tim
Northam

All accommodation includes breakfast and is quoted per person per night.
Executive style twins or doubles……………………£65 per person
Executive style single room………………………...£75
Standard doubles, twins or triples…………………..£55 per person
Standard single room ……………………………... £65
Family rooms in the above……….…. Children aged 12 years or under charged half price
Budget style twins or doubles……………………... £40 per person
Budget style single room…………………………...£50
Multishare rooms with a minimum of 4 - max 6 people....£35 per person

The runs don’t need to be sorted out right now but I think staying flexible is key. If numbers permit maybe different groups do different rides or timings over the two days. We can eat drink and be merry of an evening as per usual and celebrate all things biking!

If you’re interested, let me know.

Hi Loz

As I said today, I'm already there on Fri 14th & Sat 15th for our XJR AGM  Shame because I would've obviously supported your first Boxertrix 'run' :bounce:

Hope you get plenty of takers and the sun shines 8)

Hi Loz,

That's a bank holiday weekend, so I am going to have to pluck up courage before I ask SWMBO. I'll report back shortly assuming I can get an internet connection if I happen to end up in A&E.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Ok Chaps,

I’ve no ambitions to disrupt your nuptials over the B/H weekend.

I shall instead look forward to an October Moffat fest
