Jeez, that's mighty kind of you offering to buy us all a drink or eight, what with you being new here and all that! :)
On behalf of all the members, 'we accept'!

Welcome to the board Chris. Any details on the bike you are buying? Colour etc. What were you riding before?
Ciao, Neil.

10K on a W plate? Several thousand more than mine on a W plate and it doesn't worry me at all! 8) Go for it spud! I wouldn't bet against it being ridden gently. Is it one owner? When ever I run in a new bike I can't wait to get some miles up so that the real fun can start with the rpm right up the s...

HOW MUCH?
Just had a 6000 mile job with brake calipers cleaned up, oil leak sorted, a couple of other little jobs fettled, normal tune up AND a MOT. A tadge over £180 inc. VAT. Pidcocks in Long Eaton. No complaints there judging by other riders bills.

3 points and sixty squid. Really? What a result! :) I thought is was 'dust the suit down' time if you get nicked above 96 mph. As told to me by an ex copper who used to work traffic. I'd asked him as I got done at 93 mph and was worried about a ban. Did ya get to keep a copy of the video? Stick it u...

Good for you Andrew, what colour have you gone for? Did you have a test ride on the K1200S? If so, why did you pick the R over the K? I've not had a test ride on any of the new bikes yet. I'm going to try and get a whole day test riding back to back. 1200GS, new 800, K & R 1200S. All followed by...

I think it's probably going to be a velcro-on pouch to fit the pillion perch, for keeping one spare pair of skidders in

and until then you 1200s guys will just have use the old 'Turn them inside out' method.

Hey Nick, thanks for your reply. Yes, I was exaggerating for effect :) , however I'm very surprised at the very narrow field of view. I even coughed up more scrotes to get the expensive lenses with the wider progression corridor. Do you find your peripheral vision being out of focus is a cause of co...
