How about a blue peter section.........

Postby ned1 » Fri Nov 20, 2009 7:12 pm

Let me explain...I was after a SJ Powerfilter which you can only get in the USA (probably) at a cost of just over £100 + p&p + import costs,
Then someone said how about the Blue peter option !!
so with the help from winger, Phil K , and all, but a big thank you to the original poster of the photos r550s I have saved a large amount of beer tokens.

anyway how about a section with all the good ideas for people like me how may not have or cannot always justify the costs, when someone has an idea like this one !

this site is great

Ned

What! Blue peter! Me! How very dare you, I resemble that remark. Like extending the £100 carbon fibre (Ilimiberger) hugger by a couple of inches using a piece of black plastic from an old oil "can" so that it does what it is supposed to do i.e. actually keep Cra* off of the rear shock.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
